The British Dyslexia Association (BDA) is offering free webinar training on Boosting the achievement of children in care.

In 2017, 57.3% of looked-after children were identified as having special educational needs

The BDA is offering webinar training aimed at:

  • Social workers, virtual school professionals or trainees
  • Foster parents/carers
  • Trainers working with the above

The webinars are designed to increase knowlege of neurodiversity and specific learning differences (SpLD), helping participants to identify, support and boost the life chances of children and young people woth a range of special educational needs.

The webinar package includes

  • Supporting resources
  • New Neurodiversity Profilers for children and young people aged 4-16+
  • Guide to SpLD
