Livestream: Workshop: Early years language and communication in deaf children - what the research shows

The free seminar event Early years language and development in deaf children - what the research shows on Monday 16 October 2017 will also be available via livestream.

The presenter, Dr Sarah Collinson, will share the main findings from a literature review by the National Deaf Children’s Society on research on key factors affecting deaf children’s language and communication in the early years.

If you are not joining us in London on the day, you can watch a livestream of the event on your computer.  The livestream will be available on the NatSIP website between 13:30 and 16:00, with a 15 minute break at 14:45.  We will not be streaming the discussion element which takes place from 16:00 - 17:00.  The stream will be subtitled/captioned by MyClearText, the same team who provide subtitles at NatSIP working days. 

Access to the livestream is free, but you must:

a)  Be a registered user on the NatSIP website.  (If you are not yet registered, see the guide on how to register pdf here ).

b)  Be logged in to the NatSIP website to view the livestream taking place.

c)  Have booked a streaming slot by completing the Livestream booking form below.

(You must have completed your registration and know your NatSIP website registered email address/username before you can complete the livestream booking form).

When a streaming slot has been booked for you, you will receive a confirmation email.  Your booking form must be received by 12:00 noon on Friday 14 October 2017.

To watch the stream, simply log on to the NatSIP website from about 13:15 on Monday 16 October.  There will be a story about the livestream on the front page of the website.  The story will only be accessible to those who have booked streaming slots.  Click on the 'Read more...' on the front-page story and the stream will be displayed.
