NatSIP Facilitator

Currently working as facilitator for the National Sensory Impairment Partnership, Lindsey is also employed by a number of Local Authorities, schools and Academies, NHS and voluntary agencies in the Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) sector on the commissioning and development of shared services.

Lindsey is a qualified Teacher of the Deaf/Educational Audiologist and has been Head of Sensory Services in two local authorities and taught in mainstream, special and residential schools.

She was the facilitator for the government's South East Regional Partnership until 2008 and continues to work for the SE LAs.

Lindsey was co-author of the Quality Standards for support and outreach services, published by DCSF in September 2008 and has recently published, with National Deaf Children's Society, RNID and the British Association of Teachers of the Deaf, an adaptation of these QS for use as a self evaluation tool for Hearing Impaired services.

Lindsey is working with Guide Dogs and other colleagues in the development of the children and young people's and families wellbeing programme.
