The NatSIP Podcast Episode 2 - How are learners with vision impairment using iPads?

NatSIP is pleased to announce that Episode 2 of The NatSIP Podcast has been released.

In this episode, introduced by Lindsey Jane Rousseau, John Rous Milligan (VI lead for Norfolk Sensory Service) leads a structured Q and A discussion on Assistive Technology - How are learners with vision impairment using iPads? with answers from an expert panel.

The panel members were:

  • Carrie-Anne Brooke Lovell, Lead QTVI, Gateshead.  Carrie was the lead developer of the iPad Accessibilty Scheme of Work for Pupils with Vision Impairment, produced in collaboration with Gateshead Council, Barnet Education and Learning Service, Manchester Sensory Support Service, Portmouth City Council Vision and Hearing Team, and Thomas Pocklington Trust
  • Simon Kerrigan, Lead QTVI forSheffield - Tapton Integrated Resource Centre, Sheffield.
  • Michael Ritson, Senior Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Consulant - ACE Centre, Oldham.  Prior to joining the charity ACE Centre, Michael was a QTVI in Oldham, and Thameside.
