The National Deaf Children’s Society teamed up with the University of Manchester, Aston University and Lancaster University, to find out what the research priorities are in childhood deafness, according to the people with real experience. Children, parents, and professionals working with children with deafnes/hearing loss. A survey opened in May 2024 and has now closed. There will be a second survey launched in November, where participants can rank the summarized unanswered questions collected in the current survey according to their importance. Then at the beginning of next year a face-to-face workshop will be held to prioritize the top 10 identified uncertainties about childhood deafness and hearing loss through consensus.
